It’s that time of year when ornaments arrive and just as in previous years there are a lot. Well to be fair, a lot less than the most previous years too. Thankfully no 50 states, but still a 23 city/state release of glass Been There Series Ornaments. They have placed this design on mugs, totes and now glass to go cups. Can we be done? As for general releases, only four and no licensed store exclusives. It also seems there are no roastery editions either. Only older styles on shelves again. The pandemic might have limited the releases, but it certainly didn’t stop Starbucks holidays.
Europe has a nice list of core ornaments, with two Bearista Bears. There also is a smattering of Gold YAH releasing. This has been a very strange release over the last three years. They seem to release a few new each year while releasing many of the old with same SKU but new date stamp.
Where there is a significant reduction is Asia as Japan was the only country to release a full complement of ornaments. Korea released only one unique and Taiwan, China, and the rest of Asia seem to have no ornaments at all.
Of course as they come into our possession, we will put photographs in the catalog and galleries. Remember, you can bookmark a public google sheet with all the ornaments from all years which is constantly kept current.
